By air: Bhuntar at the distance of 50 kms from Manali, taxi can be booked on arrival and local bus station is at proximity of airport. please note that by bus 1h30 to 2 hours of journey.
By Road: Manali is well connected to Delhi. Overnight Volvo buses are run by Himachal road ways transport, Himachal tourism and private tour operators. Online booking facilities are available to book the tickets for the choice of your date.
Arrival time of buses at Manali is between 8-9 am. Hence reporting time at designated place is 10 am
Briefing of trip will start on 10 am on day of arrival, every participant is requested to be on time. Those missing the briefing will be not repeated for those late arrival.
Manali to Jobri Drive & Trek to Chikka (3000m)
Reporting at Old Manali, as per the shared location. After briefing, drive to Jobri Nallah (1h 30min). The zig-zag drive high over Manali offers breathtaking views of the Himalayas and the valley. Pass through the Khangpa village of Saten, inhabited by people migrated from Spiti. The trek starts from the road end, following a flat, easy trail through forests and meadows for 1.5 hours. The campsite is set in a scenic open valley. Night in camp.
Chikka to Balu Gyra (3300m) – 5-6 hrs trek
The trail begins with an easy, slightly uphill walk across pasturelands, covered with grass and stone slabs. Wildflowers, including Rhododendrons (seasonal), bloom along the route. Some sections have steep riverbanks and high cliffs. You may need to cross chilled streams under the supervision of expert guides (carry sneakers for safety). The gradual ascent leads to the breathtaking alpine site of Balu Gyra at the base of Hamta Pass. Night in camp.
Balu Gyra to Shea Gahru (3700m) via Hamta Pass (4200m) – 6-7 hrs
An early start is advised for the long trek. During early seasons, expect compact snow (carry gaiters for fresh snow). The summer trail is adorned with wildflowers. The ascent follows a zig-zag trail through boulders and stony paths leading to the mighty Hamta Pass. From the top, enjoy spectacular views of Lahoul-Spiti Valley and peaks like Deo Tibba and Indra Asan. The landscape changes from lush greenery to rugged terrain. A descent for about an hour leads to the campsite at Shea Gahru near a glacier, where chilled winds lower the temperature. Night in camp.
Shea Gahru to Chhatru (3360m) – 2-3 hrs trek & Chandratal Lake Excursion
The trail descends along a cold mountain stream. Depending on the bridge's condition, you may cross it or take an alternative route. After 2-3 hours of trekking, reach the beautiful Chhatru campsite at the Manali-Spiti road junction. Post lunch, drive to Chandratal Lake, a mesmerizing crescent-shaped lake surrounded by CB and Barashigari mountain ranges. After enjoying the stunning landscape, return to the camp. Night in camp.
Chhatru to Manali – 76 km (5-6 hrs drive)
Drive back to Manali via Atal Tunnel, passing through breathtaking landscapes, waterfalls, and picturesque valleys. Drop-off at the Himalayan Frontiers campsite or Manali town for onward travel.
Balance payment should be made at least 7 days before the tour begins.
The amount paid once is not transferable to any other programme /tour or to any other individual(s)/group or for any other service.
No refund shall be made if participant(s) drop/terminate from program at any point due to any reason.
One has to take care of his/her individual luggage. In case of loss or damage customer himself will be responsible for the same.
The organizers or any individual connected with the tour shall not be held responsible of any accident or any unforeseen natural calamity.
Bank charges has to be paid by the Client.

Travel insurance For Hampta Pass Trek :
This is mandatory for all clients travelling on any tour/ trek or independent itinerary arranged by us. You are responsible for obtaining adequate insurance covering expenses of unexpected as mentioned in liability paragraph. the loss of baggage, medical expenses, helicopter (air or ground) rescue, injury, death, repatriation, cancellation and curtailment of the itinerary.
*It is strongly advised that clients take out insurance to cover the unexpected and cancellation charges.
Team Spirit :
Remember there are certain challenges in your adventure holidays, during the trek you may encounter bad weather, your co-trekkers may injure or tired, you should not hesitate to give hand to those who are seeking for help.
You will encounter mountain stream which has to be cross by human chain or by other relevant method under supervision of our expert and experienced tour guide / trek leader. Every participant is advised to follow their instruction to the safety and welfare of everyone. Remember that every hazardous situation can be successfully dealt when we work in team, so please keep the team spirit alive at every instant.
Note: Multiuse light Plastic sneakers or shoes which can be easily dry are advised to carry to cross the mountain streams and also can use as camp shoes.
