Thailand has a tropical climate dominated by three seasons. The cool, dry season (November to February) is the most popular time to visit, with pleasant temperatures and low humidity. The hot season (March to May) can see very high temperatures, especially in the central and northeastern regions. The rainy season (June to October) brings monsoons, but often in the form of short, intense downpours rather than all-day rain, and can be a beautiful, lush time to visit.
1. Travel in the shoulder season (May–June, Sept–Oct) to get cheaper flights and hotels.
2. Use BTS Skytrain, MRT, local buses, or Grab to avoid high taxi fares.
3. Eat at street food markets like Chatuchak, Yaowarat & local night markets for budget-friendly meals.
4. Book domestic flights early with low-cost airlines like AirAsia or Nok Air.
